over the years
We have been so fortunate to have some legendary yoga names visit both our old and new studio since we started Lime House Yoga in 2011. From Manju Jois to David Swenson, John Scott to Ty Landrum and Dena Kingsberg to Kathy Cooper! These incredible yoga teachers have graced us with their teachings, knowledge and boundless energy and have left lasting imprints on our community. Their diverse voices have become intricately woven into the fabric of our teachings, reminding us that yoga is a path along which we constantly evolve, and we are forever grateful for their presence here.
Of course with wonderful teachers come wonderful friends and fellow students! We have loved welcoming yogis from near and far, all bringing fresh enthusiasm, conversation, inspiration and perspective to our understanding of the practice; all of whom have left their light to ripple through each class, breath and intention we hold today. Thank you.
When David Swenson visited in June 2024, we don’t think we’ve ever experienced so much laughter during an Ashtanga training! David’s endlessly funny and thought provoking stories from his life in yoga, are both fascinating, humbling, hilarious and poignant and we simply loved having him here.
Dena and her husband Jack visited us for the first time in 2023 and again in 2024 for two beautiful weeks of Mysore and workshops. Their laid back, friendly Aussie vibe brought wonderful energy to the space and they enjoyed exploring much that Cornwall had to offer in between their teachings!
Recognised worldwide as the foremost authority on Ashtanga Yoga, it’s safe to say that having Manju Jois cook in your kitchen is a little surreal! He has visited us several times over the years
