A dynamic and transformative yoga class

This special 90 minute Forrest Yoga Inspired practice is led by Nicki Lobsang, a qualified Forrest Yoga teacher. Join Nicki as she explores a combination of traditional and new yoga poses, created by Ana Forrest. This is an inspiring yoga workout that builds flexibility, intelligence and strength while helping deepen the relationship with your authentic Self.

Nicki’s aim is to create a non-judgemental space where everyone feels welcome no matter your background or experience. Guiding you through the yoga practices often inspired from different linages she always includes meditation, breath-work (pranayama) and mantras. Encouraging you to embrace your own body and channel your self love, finding stillness, bliss and inner peace. Her classes are playful and creative with opportunity to explore and challenge yourself.

Nicki’s Forrest Yoga Inspired classes are a strong yet accessible practice, not suitable for total beginners.

Forrest Yoga is designed to be intense, healing, and deeply transformative. It emphasises a combination of strength, breath-work, and deep emotional release.

Nicki’s class draws on the four elements of Forrest Yoga:

  • Breath – teaches you how to intelligently ride your breath into the thrilling advanced poses.
  • Strength – builds core strength to keeps you centered, long holds in the poses help flush, oxygenate, and rejuvenate every cell.
  • Spirit – Reconnect with your intuition and be guided by your spirit. Learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly building up that trust within.
  • Integrity – Learn to work honestly at your edges, develop effective tools to deal with fear, struggle, and breakthroughs. This makes it possible for integrity, self awareness and playful curiosity to become part of your daily life.

While Nicki’s Forrest Yoga Inspired class can be physically demanding, it is also supportive and accessible. Poses are designed to build strength and flexibility, while Nicki will give modifications for those at different levels of experience or physical capability.

What To Bring / How To Prepare

  • Yoga mats, blankets, bolsters & blocks are provided, alternatively please feel free to bring your own.
  • We have a very limited number of eye pillows so please bring your own if you would like to.
  • Please wear comfortable clothes in light layers as you will warm up as the class progresses – something that you can easily move and stretch in.
  • An intermediate – advanced practice.

Your Teacher

Nicki Lobsang

Having a Tibetan father meant Nicki grew up with an understanding of Buddhism and the belief that we are all connected in some way or another. This developed for Nicki by exploring other practises and philosophies to understand how we, human beings, can bring about balance to tackle the challenges that the modern world may throw at us.

Nicki found yoga during a big transitional period, she did her first training in 2019 in Ashtanga in Mysore, India for her own personal practice and mental health and was so inspired by the teachings she wanted to sharing this beautiful and powerful practice. Since then she has done a Hatha and Vinyasa training in Bali, an Advanced teacher training in London, a Forrest training with creator Anna Forrest. She continues to learn and evolve from the practice and is forever a student of yoga.
