Let us welcome you to 3 hours of combined Yin and Restorative practice, on a relaxing, Spring afternoon. Followed by a nourishing and delicious home-cooked supper. There’s no better way to end your weekend, and reset for the week ahead!

Restorative Yoga is designed to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the body’s “rest and digest” response. This can help reduce stress, promote better sleep, and enhance overall well-being. It is especially beneficial for individuals recovering from illness or injury, as well as those experiencing high levels of stress or anxiety.

During a restorative yoga practice, you will move through a series of poses that are each held for several minutes. The focus is on finding comfort and ease in each posture, allowing the body to relax deeply and the mind to become calm and centred.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced and meditative style of yoga that primarily focuses on passive stretching and the release of tension in the body’s connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Unlike more active and dynamic forms of yoga, Yin Yoga involves holding poses for an extended period of time, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes or even longer. This prolonged stretching allows for a deep and sustained release of muscular and emotional tension.

In this workshop, we combine the soft relaxation of Restorative Yoga, and the gentle, tension-releasing holds of Yin Yoga, to bring you a deep and calming 3-hours of practice, led by the lovely Kitty.

At the same time she discovered the dynamic Ashtanga Yoga practice and moved deeply into the Mysore form.

Since 2006 Kitty has traveled to India, Indonesia, New Zealand, UK, USA and Germany on several occasions to further educate herself in Yoga, Meditation, Pranic Healing, and Ayurvedic Medicine.
