A 4 week course
Baby massage is a beautiful way to slow down and connect with your baby in the midst of the busyness of early parenthood. Through gentle, nurturing touch, you’ll learn to understand your baby’s unique cues, build confidence in responding to their needs, and strengthen the bond you share. Alongside supporting relaxation, sleep, and digestion, baby massage creates precious moments of calm and connection, helping both you and your baby feel more settled, secure, and in tune with one another.
“Every baby in the world should receive nurturing touch as its fundamental birth-right.” – Vimala McClure
The early weeks and months with a new baby are precious, but they can also be overwhelming. As a parent, you are getting to know a completely unique little person, learning their cues, understanding their needs, and discovering what helps them feel calm, comforted, and connected.
Our Baby Massage Course offers more than just a set of massage techniques. Led by Lizzie, a highly experienced paediatric physiotherapist and mum, the course combines the benefits of baby massage with an understanding of infant development, communication, and attachment.
Drawing on principles from the Newborn Behavioral Observations (NBO) approach, we will explore how babies communicate through their movements, facial expressions, behaviours, and states of alertness, helping you grow in confidence as you learn to understand your baby’s unique personality.
Each week, you’ll learn gentle massage strokes that can support relaxation, sleep, digestion, wind, colic, and overall wellbeing. Just as importantly, you’ll learn how to recognise when your baby is ready to engage, when they need a break, and how responsive touch can help strengthen your bond and support healthy development.
The course is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and completely baby-led. There is no pressure if your baby needs feeding, changing, cuddling, or simply doesn’t feel like participating on a particular day. The sessions provide a safe space to slow down, connect with your baby, and meet other parents navigating the joys and challenges of early parenthood.
Whether you’re a first-time parent or welcoming a new addition to your family, this course is an opportunity to pause, build confidence, deepen your connection with your baby, and enjoy dedicated time together.

We have studio mats for you to use, however we advise you to eventually buy your own mat. We sell a small select range of yoga mats that we recommend/use ourselves. Cheap yoga mats are ok to start with but you will feel the difference in a high quality yoga mat as it will make your practice far more enjoyable. Cheap thin mats don’t offer the support and comfort that a higher quality mat provides.
Wear comfortable clothing with layers that are easily removed or added to allow for changes in body temperature during class. Be ready to practice in bare feet. This is the traditional (and safest) way to practice. One thing that we would recommend is to wear a top that you can keep on until you warm up and that you can put on at the end of a class, especially for Shavasana (relaxation).
Yes. If you book you are guaranteed your place in the class. To register for a class you have to select the class you’re interested and then choose either Join Us in Studio or if it’s available, then Book Online.

Whether you are new to yoga or a yogi with an existing practice, consistent yoga throughout your pregnancy will help you maintain strength, flexibility and stamina. It will help you to keep up your fitness levels but also be of great benefit during labour and can help with faster recovery post-birth.
Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis to take tennis lessons. Our Beginners yoga class is a friendly introduction into yoga.
