join us for some festive magic
At Lime House Yoga, Christmas time is for us, as it is for many, one of our favourite times of the year. We enjoy going a bit OTT with the glow of fairy lights, getting our craft on for a few new decorations, gathering foliage from the sleeping gardens and the extra warmth we feel of community and the spirit of giving – it all comes together to create an even more beautiful backdrop for our practice.
While the studio feels extra warm and inviting – a sanctuary, we like to think – and a place to pause, breathe, and find a little calm amidst the festive bustle. We also love weaving festive touches into our classes – whether it’s through grounding rituals and restorative practices, gentle flows to balance the busyness of the season, or simply sharing more time and laughter with one another after class. It’s a chance to pause, connect, and embrace the joy and calm that this time of year can bring, which can so easily be lost.
As well as all of our usual classes, we have a few festive additions on the schedule in December for Christmas 2025…carrying on scrolling for all the upcoming events to look forward to.
Join the lovely and exceptionally talented Christine Alford for her Christmas Wreath making workshop on Saturday 6th December.
During Christine’s festive Christmas wreath-making workshop you’ll craft your own beautiful, long-lasting wreath using locally sourced, sustainable foliage. Guided and encouraged by Christine’s expertise and delightful passion for all things garden, you’ll learn traditional techniques to create a unique design that will not only looks beautiful but will also stay fresh all the way through the festive season.
A relaxed afternoon of creativity, community, and eco-friendly traditions (along with some festive refreshments!) – bringing a touch of nature into your home this Christmas.
Christine is an RHS trained plantswomen and designer. Her background is rooted in the plant nursery trade where she learned to project manage and create beautiful floral exhibits at the RHS shows, some of which achieved a Chelsea Gold.

For the past 4 years we have held our annual festive event, the Lime House Yoga Christmas Fayre. We are thrilled to be holding our 5th annual Fayre on Sunday 7th December 2025 from 11am-4pm.
We feel very lucky to be able to use our studio space for so much more than yoga and put on events like our Christmas Fayre, but it is, without doubt, the stall holders that bring the magic! ✨ The last four years have been joyous, successful occasions and we are hoping for the same this year.
We really believe in supporting and shopping locally in as many areas of our lives as possible and not just at Christmas time. As much as we try and enjoy this time of year, sometimes the stress that comes with ordering a multitude of presents for every family and friend imaginable, makes it feels easier to succumb to the less-personable world of online shopping.
We like to think our little pocket of Christmas allows people to escape that world for a moment and not only support local, but also find gifts for loved ones that they would not find elsewhere.
So come along this December and enjoy some warming festive drinks, sweet and savoury snacks and browse this wonderful array of talented, local creatives! We hope to see you there.
Doors open at 11am – free entry, children very welcome and well behaved dogs on short leads – please bear in mind that the event does get very busy so larger, more anxious dogs may be overwhelmed.
I just wanted to pass along a big thank you to Debs, Jock & Emma for organising such a lovely event & for allowing us to join you. It was good fun and we met lots of great people (plus took me out of my comfort zone, which is always a good thing!) You have built a really lovely community and such a fantastic building. – Alex, Founder, Raw Flora
My fave Christmas market of the year…fast becoming a little Xmas tradition of mine! – Ellie, Founder, Inkings by Ellie

Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis to take tennis lessons. Our Beginners yoga class is a friendly introduction into yoga.
