Wim Hof Method at Lime House Yoga

Discover the profound effects of the Wim Hof Method to optimise bodymind. Put yourself in the expert hands of Level 2 certified WHM Instructor Samuel Boot to learn the 3 pillars of the WHM: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Meditation/Commitment & learn about the underlying physiology & philosophy behind the Wim Hof Method.

Sam was a brilliant instructor – I felt very safe and in good hands, his passion for the benefits of the method really shone through. I particularly enjoyed the way that the other aspects of the retreat came together to complement the Wim Hof work perfectly. The yoga, incredibly thoughtful food, and journey dance were the perfect complement to the more challenging cold aspects. This perfect combination of elements allowed all of us to connect to ourselves and each other on a deep level.

Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Days

About Fundamentals Day

These workshops are limited to 12 participants, and instructors often choose to keep them much smaller. The intimate quality allows for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performancerelieve symptoms related to an illness, or are just curious to find out what the Wim Hof Method is all about— a WHM workshop offers something for everyone.

The program generally kicks off with an introduction to the Wim Hof Method, and always includes a breathing session and an (optional) ice bath. At the end there is ample room for reflection, and your instructor Sam will be there to answer questions throughout the workshop.

I arrived and was instantly reassured, that I was in a safe space and I could take part in as much or as little as I wanted. I ended up trying it all, Sam and Jana are truly inspiring, supportive and caring. Their knowledge was informative and fun.

Who is this workshop for?

Instructors have their own specialisations, and there is some variation across the individual workshops. A detailed overview of the day with Sam is sent out upon registration.

If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relaxfocus on your breath, and bring it into a controlledsteady rhythm.

I came away completely inspired, stronger, determined and absolutely buzzing. Loved it, loved Sam and Jana, the venue, food, friends I made. Thoroughly recommend it to everyone, let your inhibitions go and become part of the Wim Hof gang.

Wim Hof Method Advanced Workshops

About Advanced Workshops

If you already have some experience with the Wim Hof Method —maybe you’ve joined one of our live events or you use the WHM app for your daily breathing exercises— but would like to dive a little deeper with the help of some professional guidance, an Advanced Workshop may be just what you’re looking for.

With a basic level of WHM familiarity understood, the Instructor puts together a program with more advanced techniques, suitable for participants who are not apprehensive about an ice bath of up to 10 minutes. You might venture out into a natural icy stream, or engage in a breathing session comprising several consecutive rounds. The goal here as always is not reckless daring, but careful, curious exploration.

An Advanced Workshop offers the same small scale intimacy of a Fundamentals Workshop, with the same close, personal attention that is vital when exploring the depths of body and mind.

Who is this workshop for?

The Advanced workshop is suitable for intermediate level Wim Hof Method practitioners looking to deepen their practice. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

The instructor may also infuse the workshop with some personal flavour based on their specialisation— such as yoga, meditation, or live music. When it comes to these deeper explorations, connecting with the energy of the instructor can be helpful.

You can always check out instructor bio to get a sense of how they relate to the Wim Hof Method and to see if their story and approach speaks to you.
