We offer a range of classes suitable for all, from beginners to advanced and with new students starting each week, every class can be adapted to suit you. We love the fact that our students are an eclectic bunch and offer a range of yoga styles to choose from. From gentle restorative Yin yoga to dynamic Ashtanga, there’s something here for everyone. - Ashtanga Yoga Cornwall
  We have three distinct Ashtanga classes on our schedule, Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 7-9am Self practice (Mysore), Tuesday Evening Ashtanga Inspired and a Saturday Led half primary class
- Beginner’s Yoga
  Many people think that they need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s a little bit like thinking that you need to be able to play tennis to take tennis lessons. Our Beginners yoga class is a friendly introduction into yoga.
- Yoga with Ropes (Yoga Kurunta)
  Yoga Kurunta, or "puppet yoga" was popularised by Iyengar yoga founder B.K.S. Iyengar who's use of ropes attached to a ‘Yoga rope wall’, enabled yoga practitioners to practice poses that would be otherwise unavailable to them and to help them to go deeper in to the poses. The term Kurunta comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "puppet," which reflects the idea that the ropes help support and guide the body, much like how a puppet is controlled by strings.
- Dynamic Vinyasa Yoga
  The Vinyasa practice links body movement with the breath in a flowing sequence of asanas (postures). Vinyasa translates to 'place in a special way'. Literally to move in a way that synchronises your breath with the movements of the body.
- Foundations Yoga
  No matter how long you have been practicing, there is always something new to learn. By stripping everything down to the foundations and building up, you can find a wonderful way to learn new things and sometimes remember things you may have forgotten!
- Gentle Vinyasa
  A light hearted slow vinyasa flow class with lots of options so you can choose what suits your body and your energy levels. The class is often themed around a biomechanical alignment principle, so we evolve our understanding of the postures. Pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation are woven into the fabric of each class.
- Mums Yoga – a Postnatal Class
  Mums Yoga with Louise - a postnatal practice providing a safe space for you to return to the mat with little one by your side. Suitable for any pre-school age.
- Mysore Ashtanga Yoga
  Ashtanga Mysore Yoga (self Practice) is the traditional way yoga was taught to people. Think of it as a 1-2-1 but in a group environment. This differs from the standard led (guided) classes that we are familiar with in the west. The Mysore (self-practice) method requires that the practitioner learn each series in turn and practice at their own pace.

- Pregnancy Yoga
  Whether you are new to yoga or a yogi with an existing practice, consistent yoga throughout your pregnancy will help you maintain strength, flexibility and stamina. It will help you to keep up your fitness levels but also be of great benefit during labour and can help with faster recovery post-birth.
- Restorative Yoga
  In Kitty's Restorative Yoga class, we explore the passive release of the body from the support of various yoga props and supports. Receive deep rest and rejuvenation from this floor-based practice. An ideal session to relieve tension and stress and a great class for heading into the weekend after a busy week!
- Yin Yoga
  In Kitty's Yin Yoga class, we explore a slow-paced and meditative style of yoga that primarily focuses on passive stretching and the release of tension in the body’s connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Yin Yoga involves holding poses for an extended period of time, typically ranging from 3 to 5 minutes. This prolonged stretching allows for a deep and sustained release of muscular and emotional tension.

We run a comprehensive training programme for students wishing to become yoga teachers and existing yoga teachers who want to further their knowledge.
- 300hr Teacher Training
  Teaching yoga is what we love and it is both a unique privilege and a huge responsibility. Becoming an inspirational teacher requires humility, integrity, experience and a commitment to practice and personal growth.

- Gong Bath and Supper Evenings
  Seasonal Gong Bath and Supper Evenings. Join us on for an inner journey of sonic healing and deep meditation, food and connection with Ali Gunning.
- Reverence for the Waterways
  A unique environmental meditation and performance exploring microplastic pollution in the River Fal. Join artist Andrew Whittle, Beach Guardian and Lime House Yoga for a six-hour communal meditation and ecological art experience in Cornwall.
- Dena Kingsberg 2026
  Join senior Ashtanga teacher Dena Kingsberg and Jack Wiseman as they return all the way from Byron Bay to Lime House Yoga in July 2026, for another 6 days of workshops and Ashtanga Mysore practice.

We’re so pleased you’ve made the first step to apply!

There are a few different stages of application for the Lime House Yoga’s 300hr Foundation Yoga Teacher Training. These ensure that you are ready for the process and that we can support your application fully.

Pre-requisites and requirements

We have designed a 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Programme delivered over 12 months, to allow time for students to learn at their own pace and have the opportunity to put learning into practice in a safe and supportive teaching environment. Besides a thorough grounding in yoga practice, philosophy, anatomy and business, each student will also receive 1:1 mentoring with the principal teachers throughout the course.

Applicants must have:

2 years minimum yoga practice
A genuine passion and interest in yoga and a desire to learn more to further your own practice as well as impart your knowledge on to your students
Dedication and willingness to accept responsibility for 100% attendance
Ability to take time for sufficient self-practice, homework and additional 1:1 tutorials with your teachers

Please complete this application form as part of the process of applying to be accepted on to the Lime House Yoga 300 hour Foundation Teacher Training Program 2024.

The cost of the training is £3270. The cost includes course manuals, discount on Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP) Trainee membership and subsidised join up fee to upgrade your YAP membership within 14 days of your graduation.

Not included is: travel, food or accommodation on taught weekends, books and reference materials, personal teacher insurance, class attendance fees and the cost of your YAP membership.

A deposit of £500 is required to secure a place for this Teacher Training Course. Please note that the deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable on acceptance of application.
