What we do
We have a beautiful studio here on the north coast of Cornwall, only a short walk from the beach and ideally situated between Perranporth, Newquay and Truro. Having spent several years renovating the house and studio, we have created a space that is calm and inspiring. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens with stunning sea and country views, our purpose built yoga studio has underfloor heating, outdoor decking and lawn space where we regularly do classes during the summer months.
Why we do it
We believe in what we do and we believe that what we do can change the world we live in. Cornwall is a beautiful place and we feel blessed to live here so minimising our impact on natural environment and making ethical choices about how we do business is important to us.
Our studio is insulated with sheep’s wool and hemp and the underfloor heating is provided by a log boiler using wood we harvest ourselves from our own woodland. We also have solar thermal providing hot water in the warmer months. We choose to bank with Co-operative Bank, because of their ethical stance and buy green electricity from Good Energy.
There are amazing charities and social enterprises in Cornwall who are making a huge difference to the world and the people around us. And because we want to “be the change we want to see in the world”, we donate 5% of our annual profit to handpicked local charities who we think are changing the world.
As well as our charity profit share, we regularly support local charities with free classes, studio donation and other lovely things. If you run a local group or charity and you think we could help please get in touch, we’d love to work with you.
