Who is this practice week for?


This practice week is aimed at anyone who has attended a yoga class but may not have the confidence to be able to practice by themselves. If this is you, then by the end of this practice week you will gain the knowledge and confidence to carry on by yourself.


Jock will start each morning by guiding you through a seated Meditation practice followed by Pranayama (breath work) and an Asana (physical) practice.  After the meditation and pranayama you will be led through a series of sun salutations (Surya Namaskara A- B) to warm the body, a standing sequence and seated sequence to build strength, mobility and flexibility.

Each morning will finish with a specific series of poses designed to ground the body and still the mind, readying you for your day ahead. Throughout each session Jock will be able to give you guidance that is personalised for your experience and practice.


The session starts at 7am but you are free to practice up to point that you feel is right for you so if you have to leave early just let Jock know and he’ll remind you to take a Shavasana before you need to leave. These five days are designed to give you an opportunity to experience a daily practice that encompasses the breadth of the yoga practice. It’s far better to do a little every day than everything on one day!

About your Teacher


Jock is the co-founder and director of Lime House Yoga. His teaching style is energetic and playful but grounded in correct alignment. When he’s not practicing or teaching he can found hanging out with his daughters who are constantly teaching him the true meaning of yoga.
