In this workshop we’ll be focusing our attention on the spine. With a healthy, well functioning spine, the nervous system is encouraged to settle and balance, posture improves as the tissues and muscles around the spine, hips and shoulders release and unwind general back pain is alleviated and the 7 main energetic centres are activated and stimulated.

Combining Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release we’ll be working to unravel tension and tightness of the muscle and fascia in and around the spine with myofascial release techniques, long held seated yin postures and some lovely undulating, spiralling and free, fluid movement, all helping to encourage emotional and physical release of tension held within the body.

Yin Yoga is perfect for those who are used to a more physically active form of yoga.

Come and explore this peaceful practice and bring some yin back into your yang.

Dominique Preston

Dominique lives and teaches yoga in Exmouth, Devon. She has studied and trained in Yoga Therapy with Duncan Hulin at the Devon School of Yoga as well as training with the Sampoorna Yoga school in India.

Suitable for people with a regular yoga practice.
