Understanding the importance of the inner journey and how this nourishes and fortifies us through the different phases of life.

Women are cyclical beings – governed by our fluctuating hormones, we encounter change: from week to week during the menstruating years and over our lifetime as we transition through the menopause. Understanding these cycles can help us to navigate these changes with a greater sense of harmony. In this workshop, we will explore the last four limbs of yoga and how these become increasingly significant in a woman’s life.

    • Meditation techniques and practice; understanding why meditation is an important tool for women 
    • Samkhya philosophy teachings
    • Key asanas for menstruation and menopause
    • Pranayama for hormone balancing
    • How to do your own Moon Retreat
    • Bach Flower Remedies for balancing emotions
    • An opportunity to share experiences and learn from one another
About your Teacher


Lucinda combines dynamic sequencing with uplifting philosophy to help students connect with their own hearts. Her approach to teaching draws on a mixture of ancient yogic philosophy and contemporary texts to bring spiritual wisdom to students in a way that is meaningful to their everyday lives.


Apart from teaching at Lime House Yoga, she runs her own yoga business – Yoga in Penryn – Yoga in Penryn Falmouth, teaching weekly classes in Penryn. She also offers yoga teacher training, weekend workshops, yoga therapy/one-to-ones and women’s yoga.


Her formal training to become an Anusara Inspired Teacher included intensive study with Bridget Woods Kramer, Carlos Pomeda, Sianna Sherman and Beth Shay. She began practising yoga and meditation over 20 years ago and has been teaching for 12 years. In order to deepen her knowledge and find new ways to bring the benefits of yoga to her students, she continues her studies in yoga, ayurveda and meditation.
