Summer Solstice Party

Summer Solstice Party

Yoga, BBQ, drinks, bonfire and laughter

Calling all our yoga students past, present and future. Come and join us to celebrate the longest day of the year with fire, food and fun! It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting us through the year and a great reason to bring our fabulous yoga community together. We’d love to meet your friends and family too so feel free to bring them along even if they don’t do yoga.

The weather is looking stunning for tomorrow so the class will start at 5pm with both adults and kids yoga classes running simultaneously. Jane Cradick will be teaching the Kids yoga and we have Georgie Barnett teaching the slightly older kids a street dance routine!

When we come together to share yoga, food, music and laughter, it is a wonderful reminder how vibrant our yoga community in Cornwall is. Creating community through yoga is what we do, often by just providing a little slice of peace and love in a busy and overwhelming world.

Usually we offer our solstice event for free but we are asking for a donation just for the yoga class, you choose how much you would like to donate. People who aren’t doing yoga are welcome to come along for free, although additional charity donations are also welcome.

BBQ, food and party

Yoga will be followed by a BBQ, food and bonfire until the early hours! As usual we will provide a huge vegan paella, tons of yummy salads and puddings, all you need to bring is something to go on the BBQ and a bottle. Partners, family and friends are welcome to come and join us for a drink whilst you practice. There is space to camp but you’ll need to check with us in advance.

If you want to come just for the food, then you can come along from any time after 5pm. We would love to meet your friends and family so if you want to bring partners, family, children or friends they are more than welcome to come along. (We have some spouses who only do an annual yoga class at our solstice gathering!)

Please RSVP so we know rough numbers for food.
