Introduction to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Introduction to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Jock Orton & Amy Hughes
Sat 30th and Sun 31st October

Join senior Ashtanga teachers Jock and Amy for a weekend of workshops designed to introduce you to the Ashtanga Vinyasa style of yoga.

You will learn elements of the Ashtanga Primary Series in a way which makes the practice accessible to everyone regardless of your experience or flexibility.  The Ashtanga sequence is often viewed as only suitable for those who are athletic, strong and flexible.  Traditionally however the sequence is adapted to the individual with modifications and props available to ensure safe and sustainable lifelong practice.

Come and join us for a 4 hour workshop split over two days

With a combined practice of almost fifty years, Jock and Amy will draw upon their training and experience in a variety of yoga styles to ensure you are able to develop an Ashtanga practice that is right for your body.  Both are senior Ashtanga teachers and have trained extensively with Manju Jois and John Scott.
