Join Lucy Aldridge for a special workshop celebrating 25 years of teaching Iyengar Yoga. Iyengar yoga lends itself beautifully towards correct alignment for each individual asana with a variety of props and postural alterations.

This workshop will explore the use of ropes, chairs and props to help you deepen your practice.

Come and learn alongside Lucy in our beautiful, purpose built studio.

I can’t believe I have been teaching for 25 years now. Time flies when you are having fun!

What is Iyengar Yoga?

Bellur Krishnamachar Sundararaja Iyengar, better known as B.K.S. Iyengar, was the founder of the style of yoga known as “Iyengar Yoga” and was considered one of the foremost yoga teachers in the world.

BKS Iyengar dedicated his life to the study of yoga, making it accessible to all. He maintained a strict standard of teaching and shared his knowledge with Iyengar teachers
As an Iyengar teacher, I am trained in the use of props to assist the practitioner in each asana (posture), to allow more comfort within their pose.
