Embracing Uncertainty, Cultivating Trust – Meditation and Supper Evening

Meditation and Supper Evening – Finding our Power in Surrender

with Lucinda Pimlott

Whilst we may feel more comfortable with knowing exactly how things are going to turn out, on the path to awakening we are called upon to let go of the outcome. In our attempt to control everything, we actually block the flow of life. It is often only in hindsight that we can look back and understand how it all fits together so beautifully. As we learn to embrace uncertainty, we begin to trust that we are in exactly the right place at the right time, trust that there is a certain order of events that is needed and that cannot be rushed or skipped over, trust that all is well. Embracing uncertainty is a doorway to freedom.

About your Teacher

Lucinda was initiated into the practice of Vipassana meditation 16 years ago at the Dhamma Dipa Centre with Goenkaji. Since then, she has had the good fortune of practising under the auspices of Thich Nhat Hanh and with Insight Meditation Teachers at Gaia House in Devon.

Apart from teaching at Lime House Yoga, she runs her own yoga business – Yoga in Penryn, teaching weekly classes in Falmouth and Penryn as well as weekend workshops. She also teaches yoga therapy and pregnancy yoga and she is a regular teacher at the annual Surya Yoga Camp.

Her formal training to become an Anusara Inspired Teacher included intensive study with Bridget Woods Kramer, Carlos Pomeda, Sianna Sherman and Beth Shay. She has been teaching for 11 years and in order to deepen her knowledge and continually find new ways to bring the benefits of yoga to her students, she regularly trains in yoga and meditation. With a background in dance, teaching and natural healthcare, Lucinda is also a Registered Bach Flower Practitioner.
