“We are all out searching for a guru and answers and then find they’re all around us, all the time. Sometimes it’s something your mom says, or the kid down the street says, or it’s in nature. It’s everywhere. We can all have paradise, because it’s right where we are.” – Doug Swenson (taken from Doug Swenson: A Holistic Approach by Cara Jepsen)

This workshop is based on the (1st level Ashtanga progression). The term “Slow Burn” is associated with a powerful yoga practice that entails deliberate movements of vinyasa and long holds of the asana.
Do not confuse slow with easy! This challenging style of yoga is heavily based on safe body alignment and intentional holding of the asana for an extended period of time.
The vinyasa in slow burn – is practiced at a slower pace to allow for a greater challenge and at the same time developing longer breath and a steady mind.
The session concludes with pranayama, yoga kriyas – followed by a blissful, guided deep relaxation.
In this yoga session you will enjoy a very relaxing and more restorative progression of asana – laced together with easy fluid vinyasa and suggested use of props.
The session concludes with pranayama, eye exercises and a blissful, guided deep relaxation.
In this class the students will experience a delightful, holistic flow of asana – focused around Handstands, Inversions and balancing in general. Many tips and suggestions will be given as to how we can achieve new poses and refine techniques of existing poses. In addition to priceless advice on how to avoid and overcome injury.
The session concludes with a blissful, guided deep relaxation.
The main focus of this class is centred on fluid movements of vinyasa and how to expand this philosophy to create flow in your daily life – a balanced variety of yoga postures – both easy and challenging will be integrated into the flow.
The session concludes with a blissful guided deep relaxation.

We have studio mats for you to use, however we advise you to eventually buy your own mat. We sell a small select range of yoga mats that we recommend/use ourselves. Cheap yoga mats are ok to start with but you will feel the difference in a high quality yoga mat as it will make your practice far more enjoyable. Cheap thin mats don’t offer the support and comfort that a higher quality mat provides.
Wear comfortable clothing with layers that are easily removed or added to allow for changes in body temperature during class. Be ready to practice in bare feet. This is the traditional (and safest) way to practice. One thing that we would recommend is to wear a top that you can keep on until you warm up and that you can put on at the end of a class, especially for Shavasana (relaxation).
Yes. If you book you are guaranteed your place in the class. To register for a class you have to select the class you’re interested and then choose either Join Us in Studio or if it’s available, then Book Online.
All the weekly classes are available on the classes page. If you have problems booking then call us on 07774 311227 and we’ll book you into the class of your choice if there is space.
