Wim Hof Method events

at Lime House Yoga

Wim Hof Method (WHM) Fundamentals Days and WHM weekends are being held throughout 2023 at Lime House Yoga in the heart of rural Cornwall. They are led by the South West’s FIRST and ONLY LEVEL 2 CERTIFIED WHM INSTRUCTOR Samuel Boot.

Sam and his partner – qualified yoga teacher Jana Virian – use the beauty of the Cornish landscape to reconnect, relax, and feel inspired. They have a strong passion to share this experience with a wider audience for anyone wanting to satisfy their need for connection, relaxation or adventure for something new.

Since 2017 Sam and Jana have run Soul Sweats – a Cornish based health & wellbeing movement, bringing transformative experiences to events, retreats & festivals.

I arrived and was instantly reassured, that I was in a safe space and I could take part in as much or as little as I wanted. I ended up trying it all, Sam and Jana are truly inspiring, supportive and caring. Their knowledge was informative and fun.
Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Days

Discover the profound effects of the Wim Hof Method to optimise body & mind. Put yourself in the expert hands of certified WHM Instructor Samuel Boot to learn the 3 pillars of the WHM: Breathing Technique, Cold Exposure & Meditation/Commitment & learn about the underlying physiology & philosophy behind the Wim Hof Method

About the Event

These workshops are limited to 12 participants, and instructors often choose to keep them much smaller. The intimate quality allows for ample personal attention, and feedback tailored to your specific situation. Whether you are looking to improve mental or physical performance, relieve symptoms related to an illness, or are just curious to find out what the Wim Hof Method is all about— a WHM workshop offers something for everyone.

The program generally kicks off with an introduction to the Wim Hof Method, and always includes a breathing session and an (optional) ice bath. At the end there is ample room for reflection, and your instructor Sam will be there to answer questions throughout the workshop.

Instructors have their own specializations, and there is some variation across the individual workshops. A detailed overview of the day with Sam is sent out upon registration.

If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is suitable for everyone but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

Wim Hof Method Weekends

About the Event

This transformative experience will leave you with useful ‘tools’ & techniques to take away and integrate into your everyday life to help with health, wellbeing & overall perspective.  The technique, theory & scientific research behind the Wim Hof Method will be discussed, however, the majority of the workshop will be a step-by-step instruction or, rather, developing a feeling for the practice and yourself. As Wim often says: “feeling is understanding.”

The focus of this weekend is your well-being which will be explored from a holistic health perspective.

Grounding exercises, Yoga instruction, meditations and then an Ice Bath. The place/venue was stunning, the vibe perfect and the couple running it I would say are the most beautiful people I have ever met, their energy, compassion and knowledge - I'm blown away!!`` 17th Oct, Craig Coles
