When it comes to an honest valuation, we would only go to Gary and Sarah Domé. If you’re not convinced by us, then ask lots of our students! Gary is also one of our most committed students and a regular supporter of our charitable events.
Our local farm shop with delicious homemade baked goods, local produce, home grown veg and meat, which is why we use them to provide our holiday let welcome pack. We always have our Christmas bird from them!
Everyone knows that yoga and coffee go together like, well, yoga and coffee! Here at Lime House, it’s safe to say we’re just a little bit picky about our coffee and these guys definitely hit the mark. Smooth, sweet and roasted here in Cornwall they help us start the day right.
Lovely people, great service and good website. We rent our retreat centre as a self-catering holiday let and they are brilliant!
Tamsyn’s Indian Head and Thai foot massages are guaranteed to have you relaxed and refreshed. She also does amazing hot stone facials and is a talented make up artist. She did Em’s 40th birthday make up and is great booked for 1-2-1 or girly group lessons!
Jody and her team at Zephyr are the fantastic crew who designed our beautiful logo. We love them because they took the time to understand our business and the ethos we want to share. We’ve had soo many lovely comments about it. In fact it’s so fab, it’s even been copied and you know that’s the best form of flattery!
Angio offers a holistic approach to massage therapy that can touch an individual’s whole being – physical, mental and emotional. She really does have an amazing touch and energy and can offer traditional Swedish, deep tissue, passive joint mobilization, energetic work and more.

Ashley was a recommendation and it proved to be a great one! He came and photographed a workshop with 50 students in it, having never done or seen a yoga pose in his life…and he did a great job! Check out his gallery photos here.
When we needed great interior shots of our new retreat centre we didn’t have too far to look. David from Chetwode Ram was one of our students and lives just down the road. All the shots on our accommodation page are his…lovely!
Khalile is a fantastic photographer and we use him regularly for doing shots for the studio. He’s also one of our most regular students and reckons yoga saved his life! Check out his gallery photos here.
Our local pub and only a 12 min walk from the studio (we know, we’ve timed it!). Good food and a great range of local ales. The Smugglers Den has an annual Pie and Ale festival on the first bank holiday in May, which is well worth a visit.
One of our local surf shops run by the extremely local Matt Jobe. Great products, friendly staff and very knowledgeable.
Sam is one of our students and uses yoga to keep him supple and ready for the water. He’s also a pro-surfer and provides honest, insightful coaching just down at our local beach break.
Louise and Tim from Mobius run a great Kitesurfing and Stand up Paddle Boarding (SUP) School and will take you wherever the waves are.
Lucy from Pirran Surf is one of our students as well as running this fab shop down the road from us. Stockists of Iglu kids wetsuits, we always kit out our girls from Pirran Surf.
We feel truly blessed to have Aimee teaching at Lime House, she has a perfect voice for restorative yoga, which is her passion. She is a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner and yoga therapist and teaches Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs.
Bridget was Jock’s first teacher and he still has a great love for Anusara and the alignment base it gives to his teaching. Bridget remains an inspiration to us and many of our studio teachers.
What David doesn’t know about anatomy and yoga, probably isn’t worth knowing! He’s an inspiring teacher or Jock’s and one day we hope to tempt him down to Cornwall!
Greg loves yoga philosophy and is a playful teacher. Jock learnt all of his Sanskrit pronunciation from him! He often teaches in the UK so try and get a workshop with him if you can.
Lisa and Jock trained together with Bridget Woods-Kramer 13yrs ago and have remained friends ever since. Lisa teaches with a gentleness that is unique and is also a highly respected Acupuncturist. She is also the calmest person you will ever meet!

Our beloved friend and teacher, John is Jock’s main Ashtanga teacher with a worldwide reputation. He’s now based in Warsaw, but our spare room is still known as John’s room!
Yoga Teacher | Manju Jois
The eldest son of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, Manju is recognised worldwide as the foremost authority on Ashtanga Yoga. He has a relaxed and fun approach to teaching that we love and he makes a mean curried soup!
Sandra is a graduate of the John Scott Yoga teacher training programme and one of the few teachers to receive the 500hr certification from John.
Kati and Rachel are fab friends and teachers and run a lovely studio in Cambridge. For those heading to this lovely university town, you must try a class with them…they rock!
A beautiful studio with amazing views, well worth a visit if you’re Devon-bound!
In Scott Johnson at Stillpoint, we feel we’ve found our yoga brother-in-arms! Scott has a natural calm that inspires hundreds of students every day in the Ashtanga method, he is also one of few 500hr certified John Scott Graduates. If you’re ever in London you have to check him out.
Call us old-fashioned but we’re only recent converts from paper to iPad! Tula’s software is specifically designed for yoga studios and their customer service is second to none. Plus it stops Em from having to look at spreadsheets…bonus!
