Our two beautiful traditional Mongolian Yurts are nestled into the Cornish countryside with stunning views through the valley towards Holywell Bay. Each yurt is like a home from home, with each having its own king or super-king bed, kitchenette, dining table, sofa, fired heaters and individual compost loos and showers. Relax in the evening after a BBQ, sitting beside an open fire watching the sun go down and the the stars coming out.
This has a beautiful wrought iron king size bed plus a full-size sofa bed so if you are sharing with a friend, each of you will have a double bed. BOOK NOW
We can either make this yurt up into a twin with full size single beds or zip and link the beds together to make a luxurious super-king size bed. BOOK NOW
The Smugglers Inn is either a brisk 12-minute walk away via the road or a 25-minute scenic amble away…. however it usually takes a little longer on the way home!
A 30-minute walk away to the south across the dunes is the lost church of St Piran. Originally built in the 5-6th century by the patron saint of Cornwall, St Piran, it became engulfed by the shifting sands in the 10th century. Lost for hundreds of years it was rediscovered in the 18th century. It was reburied in the early 20th century to protect it from vandalism. In 2015 it was re-excavated by the St Piran Trust. The lost Church is one of the oldest and most important sacred sites in Britain, second only in age to Iona Abbey in Scotland
We are located on the north coast of Cornwall near the surfing town of Perranporth. 10 minutes to the north is Newquay and 15 minutes to the south is the county town of Truro. Newquay airport is only a 20-minute drive away.
The studio is a short walk away through a couple of fields.
